Bereka was founded by Melissa Vandira in 2010.
“In my native country Zimbabwe, babies are usually carried on the back.
It was natural for me to carry my own children.
Due to the many responses from people interested in babywearing, I started researching how to educate parents and pregnant women about the benefits of babywearing and completed the Trageschule UK’s Babywearing Consultant course. Ultimately, this now results in Bereka with my own collection of slings.”
